It operates automatically, discharging system water when temperatures approach freezing, helping to prevent pipe bursts, system damage, and costly call-outs.

Engineered specifically for heat-pump primary circuits, the valve requires no electrical supply and reacts purely to ambient temperature. When temperatures fall to approximately 3 °C, the valve opens to release water; it then automatically reseals once temperatures rise, maintaining safe system operation.
